Interview the Artist – Dinni H
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Full name is Dinesh Hegde, live in Bangalore, I am a mechanical engineer and lucky to have a lovely wife and no kids yet! So lucky to have parents living with me on the top of that my sister’s family lives in the same building we live.
What is your first memory of using a camera?
It was a film camera from my uncle at the age of 15. I took his camera without his permission, went to a nearby hill station and shot 5 shots one of them being a sunset shot. Believe me, after that I touched digital camera (point and shoot) after 12 years during my sister’s marriage!

no
What camera/s do you use?
Canon 1000d the entry level DSLR
Do you manipulate or edit your photos digitally and how?
Yes, but very little in Lightroom, basic edits like curves and colors and sometime brush. I use sometimes Photoshop also but time is my constraint! But I will not manipulate
What inspires you?
people surrounding me , their life style, their smiles and their culture
Do you think of yourself as having a photographic “style”? If so… what would it be?
I do not know I have gone to a level I can say ” I have a style” but I would like to have a certain style

What is the most enjoyable aspect of being behind the camera?
Those moments I captured makes me feel so good whenever I look at them . If they convey some message, meaning and story to the viewers that will be the most satisfying for me.
